What wont you find in EXTRACT products?
EXTRACT products are free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colours, petrochemicals, GMOs, sulfates, synthetic preservatives, pthlalates, sodium laurel sulfate, mineral oils, triclosan, formaldehyde, toluene and propylene glycol.
How should i store/care for my EXTRACT Products?
At EXTRACT we use natural preservatives to keep our products fresh and in there most active form.
Natural preservatives work a little different compared to synthetic preservatives , instead of killing the bacteria they prevent them by creating an environment for them not to grow in. This means natural products have a shorter shelf life.
If you live in a humid, moist or hot environment, try and keep your products in the fridge to extend their shelf life and to ensure moisture doesn't get in and cause bacteria to become present.
Keep products out of direct sunlight and off the window sill.
Why are EXTRACT products packaged in glass?
EXTRACT products are packaged in glass sourced from an New Zealand supplier, reducing the impact of the product on the environment. In line with EXTRACT trying to reduce its carbon footprint , our packaging is recyclable. We encourage reuse of the glass packaging.
Why doesn't EXTRACT have product boxes?
EXTRACT does not have product boxes to help reduce the waste we create. Your only going to throw it away right? Instead we have all the information you need on the bottle its self or right here on the website.
What is the expected shipping times?
Your order will be dispatched within 2 business days from Wellington. During busy sale periods and due to COVID, orders may require additional days to be processed before they are shipped. Once shipped they will be to you in 1-3 business days
Is EXTRACT vegan and animal friendly?
EXTRACT skincare products are free of animal products and ingredients and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We don’t support testing on animals. EXTRACT products are never tested on animals, we test on real people and ourselves. We refuse to test on animals and use only vegan ingredients.
Are EXTRACT products suitable for all skin types?
Yes EXTRACT products are designed and formulated for all skin types. We use gentle but active ingredients to suit everyone. Our goal here at EXTRACT is to repair your skin's natural protection barrier. Putting the hydration and good oils back into your skin.
